EVENT DESCRIPTION
As the ever-changing tax code and regulations grow increasingly complex, practitioners often turn to artificial intelligence to research the law, draft documents, or otherwise automate legal and accounting work. AI is not without its flaws, however, and can carry significant liabilities when used improperly. This course will discuss the ethical implications of using AI in tax practice and how to protect yourself and your credentials while still using powerful research and drafting tools.
EVENT OBJECTIVE
After completing this course, participants will understand the ethical and statutory rules applicable to tax practitioners relevant to AI usage, and learn how to ethically and responsibly incorporate artificial intelligence into their practice while remaining compliant with non-disclosure statutes, return position standards, and Circular 230 and avoid potential practitioner penalties or discipline.
